by

ABC/Paula LoboJohn Legend and his wife Chrissy Teigen have been vocal opponents of President Trump’simmigration policy, and Saturday, he’s performing at a freedom march in Los Angeles that supports immigrants’ rights.

Legend will sing at The Families Belong Together: Freedom for Immigrants March at City Hall in L.A., along with Taboo from the Black Eyed PeasBillboard reports. Laverne Cox from Orange Is the New Black will also appear. The march is one of over 600 protest events being held Saturday in all 50 states, and several countries, according to TheCut.com.

As previously reported, Legend and Legend sarcastically “celebrated” the President’s 72nd birthday on June 14 by donating nearly $300,000 to the American Civil Liberties Union. The organization has sued the Trump administration several times for what it calls unconstitutional policies against immigrants.

“John and I are outraged to see and hear the horror stories of immigrant families seeking asylum and refuge in America being ripped apart due to the inhumane policies of the Trump administration,” Teigen tweeted. “These actions are cruel, anti-family and go against everything we believe this country should represent.”
