Jury Begins Deliberations in Blurred Lines Trial

by

Randy Holmes/ABCThe jury in the “Blurred Lines” trial began deliberations in a Los Angeles court on Thursday afternoon.

Eight people sit on the jury — five women and three men. They must all agree on a verdict.

Deliberations will resume Friday morning.

“Blurred Lines” collaborators Robin Thicke, Pharrell Williams and T.I. have been sued by Marvin Gaye‘s children over the hit, which they claim ripped off their father’s song “Got to Give It Up.” While on the stand Wednesday, Pharrell denied he had “Got to Give It Up” in mind when he wrote “Blurred Lines.”

Pharrell and Robin were present for Thursday’s closing arguments.
