K. Michelle is all about fan appreciation, which would explain why she’s invited her Rebels to her upcoming album release concert, which will take place at New York City’s famed Apollo Theater.
The singer announced the news via Instagram, posting a photo of the her name illuminated on the theater’s marquee.
“Dec 9 we will celebrate good music! We will celebrate for those who counted us out! New York my album release concert will be amaze balls. See you at the legendary APOLLO,” she wrote in the caption. But she offered no information about how fans can get in to the event.
Michelle’s sophomore album Anybody Wanna Buy a Heart? is due out December 9. The project includes her singles “Love ‘Em All” and “Maybe I Should Call,” as well as production from Eric Hudson, Pop & Oak and Timothy Bloom.
