Kehlani unveils star-studded track list for her new album, ‘It Was Good Until It Wasn’t’

Just days ahead of the planned release of upcoming album, It Was Good Until It Wasn’t, Kehlani reveals the album’s star-studded track list, featuring Tory Lanez, Jhené Aiko, Masego, Lucky Daye, James Blake, and a special tribute outro.

The R&B crooner alsoreveals the album’s back cover, proving the grass isn’t greener on the other side, contrary to the front cover that captures her peeking over the backyard at the trees — or we think.  

Kehlani is actually leaving all the smoke, destruction and chaos behind her, similar to her personal life over the last few months, carrying us through the COVID-19 with quarantine-style music videos for the singles “Toxic,” “Everybody Business” and last week’s “F&MU.” 

“Lexii’s Outro” pays tribute to Kehlani’s friend, the late rapper Lexii Alijai, who passed away on January 1 at age 21 from a drug overdose. Alijai collaborated on Kehlani’s You Should Be Here mixtape for “Jealous.”
