KDS EntertainmentKeith Sweat will launch his Last Forever residency at The Flamingo Las Vegas Hotel & Resort on the Las Vegas strip this Tuesday.
The crooner tells ABC Radio that when he decided to do the residency, he was well aware of the effort he would mean for himself and for those behind-the-scenes.
“My first thought was, ‘Aw man, this is going to be a lot of work. It’s gonna be very time consuming,'” he says.
“And I thought about it, but I looked at the overall benefits of it and the overall branding of it, and I felt that the branding alone would be great for the publicity and promotions and the marketing that people put forward — gives me just a look that’s incredible,” Keith adds.
And with that in mind, Keith knew that the preparation would be all worth it.
“For all the work that I might have to put into it, I just think the return will be great. That’s what made me wanna do it and that’s what made me think about doing it,” he says.
He also explains what fans can expect from the “I Want Her” vocalist’s show, which will be much different from his regular tour performances.
“It’s more of an intimate type of…welcome-to-my-living-room type of setting, or welcome-into-my-home type of situation where you make everybody in that room feel like they’re a part of your show, or part of the stage.”
Keith’s Last Forever residency takes place between January 17 to February 4. For more information on tickets and showtimes, visit keithsweatvegas.com.
