Kelly Rowland has gifted fans with a surprise EP release, entitled The Kelly Rowland Edition, ahead of her highly-anticipated fifth studio album.
Dialing in at just three tracks, the project features the nostalgic opening track “Don’t Worry,” the jazzy “Diamonds,” and the endearing ballad “See Me.”
While there isn’t much information available about the EP, Kelly confirmed on her Instagram that it was recorded in its entirety at Red Bull Music Studios.
As for her forthcoming studio album, Rowland revealed to Billboard in January that the effort was largely inspired by Marvin Gaye and hip-hop from the ’90s.
“This is by far the longest, most pressure-filled process ever, only because I know what it’s supposed to be and I have been so hard on myself,” Kelly confessed. “But it’s definitely coming, and I’m more so excited about this project than anything else.”
The Kelly Rowland Edition is now available to stream from the usual outlets.
