Courtesy Keyshia Cole Via InstagramKeyshia Cole has been on an emotional roller coaster while recording her long-awaited sixth album, Point of No Return.

“U kno. I cried for a lot of this album,” she tweeted early Friday morning, following a late night studio session. “This album is gonna be one of the most heartfelt albums of my career.”

When fans expressed their concerns for her well being, KC assured them that she’s feeling better now. “It’s a good thing. U cry. And then u get over that sh**,” she added. “I’m human. I feel. Like everybody else.”  Part of what Cole’s feeling may be due to her rocky relationship with her estranged husband, Daniel “Boobie” Gibson.

Cole also shared that she’s eying a July release, although no official date has been announced yet. The upcoming disc will include her dual singles: “Rick James,” featuring Juicy J, and “Next Time (Won’t Give My Heart Away).”
