Keyshia Cole Hits Studio with R. Kelly

Courtesy Keyshia Cole Via InstagramAfter recently working with hit producer Scott Storch, Keyshia Cole has recruited an R&B legend for her next album, tentatively tiled Point of No Return.

The singer shared a Instagram image of herself alongside R. Kelly, who is smoking a cigar and wearing a hat that reads “King” in the picture.

“#Studio wit Kellz @RKelly,” KC wrote on Wednesday while visiting Miami. She also revealed that the pair are recording “#WhenAWomansFedUp type sh**,” referring to Kelly’s song of the same name lifted from his 1998 double album, R.

It seems Cole’s martial woes with her estranged husband Daniel Gibson have heavily influenced the direction of the album, which will bring her back to making the man-bashing songs for which her fans love her most.

Keyshia addressed what people can expect from the project in a lengthy Instagram post.  “Now I see why yall missed me so much! I used to spit that sh**. This is the first album that I pretty wrote by myself since ADM (A Different Me) and I freestyled all the songs I sung! Straight from the heart! Sorry to say, but I got you! Hey… everything has its purpose,” she wrote.

KC also tweeted that the disc will be a 15-track album, featuring an intro, outro, interlude and 12 full songs.

The upcoming effort will serve as the follow-up to 2012’s Woman to Woman.
