Derek Blanks/Interscope/UniversalKeyshia Cole has given fans an update about her seventh studio album: she’s enlisted renowned music executive and producer Ron Fair to contribute to the follow-up to last year’s Point of No Return.

The singer confirmed the news via Instagram, posting a picture of herself hugging the Fair, who has production credits for Mary J. Blige‘s “Be Without You,” Black Eyed Peas‘ “Where Is the Love?” and Chritstina Augilera‘s “Beautiful.”

“!!Guess who’s gonna be helping me with this new album!!!? Soooooo Soooooooooo nice seeing this guy Ron Fair,” KC wrote in the caption. “#ALLIN#Always have seen him as more than a musical inspiration! #Also a Father! My life changed the day I met this guy! #RealLife#RealPeople#RONFAIR#Family.” She also added another image indicating that they’ve already begun recording.

The duo have a long history of working together — Fair was an executive producer on four of Cole’s albums, from 2005’s The Way It Is to 2010’s Calling All Hearts.
