Kacie TomitaEDM producer Marshmello has teamed up with 19-year old rising star Khalid for a powerful new track called “Silence.”
The official lyric video for the song is just as stunning: it offers up home video images of Marshmello and other individuals amid Khalid’s soulful vocals.
In addition, Khalid recently debuted the music video for his latest single, “Young Dumb & Broke,” which features a host of familiar faces, including Fifth Harmony member Normani Kordei, Wayne Brady and Kel Mitchell.
He’s also nominated for an MTV Video Music Award for Best New Artist, and his debut album American Teen has gone gold.
“Silence” is available to buy via the usual digital platforms and you can watch the lyric video for the track on YouTube.
