In early May, Kim Kardashian visited the White House to meet with Donald Trump about possibly releasing Alice Marie Johnson who had served 21 years in prison for a first time, non-violent drug offense. The following month, Johnson was released from prison with what seems to have been successful persuading on Kim Kardashian’s behalf.
Now Kim Kardashian is headed back to the White House today to discuss the case of Chris Young who is serving a life sentence in Tennessee for cocaine and marijuana possession. He has since served eight years already after being convicted in 2010. According to Kim Kardashian, Young’s punishment is unfair and she hopes to be able to bring attention to possibly reevaluating his sentence or diminishing it altogether.
