King Combs hits the studio to work on new music

by

Jason Koerner/Getty ImagesRapper Christian “King” Combs is back in the studio, after being injured in a car crash earlier this month.

On Sunday, the son of hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs shared a series of Instagram photos of himself in the studio for a little “Sunday Funday.”

King has been rather quiet since his 2019 single, “Naughty,” featuring hitmaker Jeremih, from 2019’s Cincerley C3. The nine-track EP serves as a direct reflection of today’s music merged with 90’s influences, mirroring King’s Bad Boy upbringing under his father’s iconic record label.

His music blends elements of his East Coast-New York upbringing and the West Coast sound, boasting features from Smooky MarGielaaCity Girls and Tee Grizzley, and members from his crew CYNMOB, which is short for CYN Men of Business.

King has been hot on the music circuit since his 2018 mixtape, 90’s Baby, and his Biggie Smalls-inspired video for his single “Love You Better,” featuring Chris Brown.

King was also featured on Teyana Taylor‘s two-time gold-record, “How You Want It? (HYWI?),” and recently on “Diana,” from Pop Smoke‘s posthumous debut album, Shoot for the Stars Aim for the Moon.

Who’s ready for more King Combs?
