Many would agree that Lauryn Hill was on top of her game during her post-prison performances at New York’s Bowery Ballroom last month. However, for those who missed it, new concert footage was posted on her official YouTube page and captures the singer showcasing an extended reggae-inspired rendition of her 1998 hit single “Ex-Factor.”
For nearly 12 minutes, the singer performed her revamped track alongside a live band and three back-up singers. “Don’t come in yet,” she told the band, prolonging her performance even further.
Meanwhile, Lauryn’s Homecoming tour continues with upcoming shows in Red Bank, NJ on December, 22; Huntington, NY on December, 26; and wrapping in Port Chester, NY on December, 28.
The singer is also working on a new album, Letters from Exile, which will arrive next year on Sony ATV and Obverse Creation Music.
