LeToya Luckett is excited about her upcoming role in a new HBO series, Ballers. The project will be executive produced by Dwayne Johnson and Mark Wahlberg, according to her official website.
The series will follow Johnson starring as a retired professional football player named Spencer Strasmore while Luckett has been cast to portray Tina, widow of one of Spencer’s closest friends. The project will begin production later this year.

The upcoming series marks LeToya’s return to HBO — she had a recurring role as Alison Myers in the hit series Treme in 2011 and 2012.
