ABC/Image Group LASometimes you have to reflect on the past to appreciate the present.
And that’s exactly what Beyoncé has done to commemorate she and hubby Jay Z‘s 9th wedding anniversary, by sharing photos of their 8th wedding anniversary on her official website.
The “Dangerously In Love” artist’s photos feature Bey and Jay enjoying their special day at the Grand Canyon — holding hands, smooching, sipping wine and taking in the majestic view while looking their fashionable best.
The happy couple’s daughter, Blue Ivy, is also shown in several pictures, posing in several cute hats and white sunglasses.
You can also view lyrics to Beyoncé’s song “Die With You” among the anniversary photos, such as “I don’t really need these fingers/If they don’t get to touch your spine” and “I don’t have a reason to be/If I can’t be with you.”
The global icon released a new studio version of the 2015 song and accompanying music video Tuesday as well.
Also Tuesday, Bey’s mom, Tina Lawson, paid tribute to the power couple’s 9th wedding anniversary by sharing an Instagram photo of Bey and Jay’s 2008 wedding day.
The never-before-seen picture shows Bey in her wedding gown, designed by her mom, and Jay smiling in his wedding-day tuxedo, turning toward their wedding guests.
