Love on Top: Beyonce Makes History by Charting 12 Songs on Hot 100

Parkwood/ColumbiaBeyonce is claiming her music throne one track at a time as the “Formation” singer has managed to have all of her 12 Lemonade songs chart on the Billboard  Hot 100.

In true Bey-dom fashion, the pop star’s album made music history by having 12 of its tracks debut on the Billboard Hot 100, while all 12 also appeared on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. According to Billboard, this is the first time that a female act has charted 12 or more songs on the Hot 100 at the same time, surpassing Taylor Swift’s previous record of 11, set on November 13, 2010.

Since its release, Lemonade has taken the top spot on the Billboard 200 albums with 653,000 in sales and streams in the week, according to Nielsen Music. The album also tops the magazine’s sales-based R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, with 485,000 in pure album sales, giving Queen Bey her sixth number one on both charts.
