Mariah Carey Goes Southern for “American Dad” November 24

TV Guide reports that in the episode, Mariah will play Laura, a blonde Southern football fan who meets Stan at a Cowboys game and invites him to join her tailgate party.  Unfortunately, it’s all a dream: in reality, Stan is stuck at home celebrating Thanksgiving with his in-laws.

American Dad executive producer Matt Weitzman tells TV Guide, “Mariah was great to have in the studio. She’d never done voice-over work before, but she was clearly so comfortable in front of the mic. She’s naturally funny.”

In other Mariah news, she’ll debut her new single “The Art of Letting Go” on her Facebook page this Monday at 11 a.m. ET, and will also have a Q&A with her fans at the same time.  “Think about what you wanna ask me, I’ll try my hardest to answer as many questions as possible. Don’t be afraid to get creative with your questions!” she wrote on Facebook.
