Mariah Carey has hinted that she will soon hit a city near you with a brand-new tour.
The singer announced the news in a newly-recorded voice message welcoming her Lambs to her redesigned website, MariahCarey.com,
“Hi Lambs, welcome to the brand new MariahCarey.com. Stay tuned as we continue adding more sections and pow moments to the site. We’re also gonna be coming up with some festive contests for the lambily!” she says in the recording.
She then adds, “Lastly, I just wanted to thank everyone for always supporting me. You know Me. I Am Mariah… It’s only the beginning! The elusive chanteuse, dahhlings! I can’t wait to see you when I hit the road, starting very soon and I’m very excited about it! Love ya much, bye bye!”
The upcoming outing will further support her latest album, Me. I Am Mariah…The Elusive Chanteuse, which peaked at number three on the Billboard album chart. Mariah’s last extensive tour was the Angels Advocate tour, which wrapped up in February of 2010.
Mariah has been leaving voice messages for her fans for years; in this new one, she refers back to those old messages by signing off in her traditional way: saying “Love ya much!” and adding, “Buh-Bye!” in a high, squeaky voice.
