Mariah Carey’s Former Home with Nick Cannon Sells for $9 Million

by

ABC/Donna SvennevikMariah Carey and Nick Cannon’s Bel Air mansion is officially off the market. The divorcing couple closed on the sale of the home Friday for $9 million, according to Forbes.

The 13,000-square foot home had been listed for $12.995 million, so it seems they got a bit less than they had hoped. The buyers are New York City-based doctor Rudy Rezzadeh and his wife Niki, who are relocating to the West Coast.

The property contains six bedrooms, six full-baths and three half-baths, as well as a movie theater, gym and basketball court. Before Mariah and Nick purchased the home, it belonged to the late Farrah Fawcett. When Mariah moved in, she kept Farrah’s 1980s-style dressing room intact, and the new buyers reportedly plan to do the same.

The buyers’ agent, Ardavan Mofid, said when the Rezzadehs initially walked into the home, a Mariah Carey song was playing. They fell instantly in love and knew they wanted to buy.

Mariah and Nick, who are parents to twins Moroccan and Monroe, separated last year after six years of marriage. Nick reportedly filed divorce papers in December.
