Mario says forthcoming album title change was inspired by love

Cheng ChumFollowing the recent release of his music video for “Let Me Help You,” Mario has announced a new title for his forthcoming album.

The singer has changed the title of the studio project from Paradise Cove to Cosmo 17 and shares his reasons for the switch in a new on-camera interview with Music Choice, saying that the title change was inspired by his “perception of where we are, humanity, when it comes to love.”

As for his own beliefs about matters of the heart, Mario reveals that he still believes in the power of love on Earth and beyond.

“The rest of the album, developing it, it kind of took it’s own — a life of its own. It’s kind of like I was talking to myself as a kid, telling them ‘Love still exists. It’s still real.’ You know, still believe in it, don’t give up. And if you can’t find it here on Earth, maybe you gotta go to the cosmos to find it,” he adds

Cosmo 17 is scheduled to arrive this spring.
