Mary J. Blige and Nas have made good on their promise to deliver new music to fans with their latest single, “Thriving.”

Wednesday night, the duo dropped off the DJ Camper production, which finds them reflecting on how they’ve manged to do more than just survive after more than two decades in the music industry.

“Thriving” adds to Nas and Blige’s many treasured collaborations, including 2013’s “Rise Up Shepherd and Follow” from The Black Nativity soundtrack, 2012’s “Reach Out,” from Nas’ Life Is Good album, and the 1997 cut “Love Is All We Need,” from MJB’s third studio album, Share My World.

The “Thriving” collaboration arrives nearly two weeks after the pair initially teased the record, ahead of their co-headlining Royalty Tour. Slated to kick off in July, that trek will make stops in 22 major cities including Atlanta, Houston and Las Vegas before wrapping in Toronto in September.

You can get a taste of what’s to come at this year’s Essence Festival, when both Blige and Nas hit the stage together.
