Derek Blanks PhotographyFans of Tina Campbell and sister Erica Campbell‘s reality show, Mary Mary, may remember the drama that played out on the show and in headlines when news of husband Teddy Campbell‘s infidelity became public.
However, the couple found a way to use that heartbreaking situation for good with their hit web series about “life, love, family and faith,” 10 Minutes with Teddy and Tina, launched this past Valentine’s Day
The first three episodes of the show have scored close to a combined 100,000 views, and Tina tells ABC Radio that the idea for the digital series not only came from her and her husband’s marital issues, but also from others.
“People were coming to me and my husband for help and so we literally started doing this three years ago, one year after working really hard to heal. Now of course our healing continued, but we were over the hump after about a year,” she says.
“We had gotten over the hump before the TV show started,” she says. “So by the time the TV show came on, my husband and I were able to make it through and realize ‘we’re gonna stay together, our relationship is gonna work.'”
And as a result, Tina adds that she and her husband “realized that we were helping a lot of other people heal.”
Of course, there’s time to catch up with the series before a new episode airs, which, according to Tina, will be one of many more to come.
“We’ve got more episodes in the wait and we’re gonna talk about a little bit of everything,” she says.
