Megan Thee Stallion says Beyoncé offers a nicer approach to Jay-Z’s hot girl advice

by

Emilio CoochieMegan Thee Stallion sat down with Stephen Colbert on The Late Show Wednesday to bring us more Good News about her relationship with Jay-Z and Beyoncé

The Houston rapper keeps both of her music idols on speed dial after remixing her chart-topping hit record, “Savage,” with fellow Houstonian Bey.

“I remember being a little kid and being like, ‘Wow, I want do do this one day,” Megan told Colbert, recalling her first attendance at a Destiny’s Child concert at the Houston Rodeo. “Just being from Houston you have to know what Beyoncé just means to us. She’s like the standard. So being able to just speak to Beyoncé now, I’m like…pat [myself] on the back, this is great!”

Megan was reluctant to share whether Jay or Beyoncé gives her better advice, but she appreciates Jay-Z’s “fun advice.”

“Say, if I’m having a bad day, he’ll be like, ‘Megan, girl, you need to be somewhere driving the boat, turn up. Have a good time,'” she said. “He gives me the…hot girl advice.”

Meanwhile, Bey has a much “nicer” approach. “She says it the nicer way and Jay-Z gives it to me the turned up way,” added Megan.

Megan also dished about her braggadocious single, “Body,” which launched the viral dance #Bodyodychallenge on social media and currently has over 34 million YouTube views. The hot girl coach said the song was inspired by her admiring her bodacious curves in the mirror and is meant to celebrate all body types.

“The hook literally came from me dancing in the mirror admiring my fluff,” says Megan. “But it’s definitely about people celebrating their bodies.”
