Megan Thee Stallion subtly shades Tory Lanez for promoting song with DaBaby

by

Emilio CoochieMegan Thee Stallion took to Twitter to subliminally address Tory Lanez, who announced an upcoming music video for a single with DaBaby on Instagram. The photo features Lanez standing next to DaBaby, while holding a bible and a blonde-haired woman sitting on the bed.

“Nice try,” tweeted Megan along with three laughing emojis. The Houston hottie followed up by retweeting a fan who replied, “that ain’t Dababy that’s my baby.”

Another Hottie said, “[Eff] dababy all 2021,” to which Megan responded, “That [photo] was old and not cleared. ‘CRY BABY’ VIDEO dropping soon.”

Considering DaBaby is a featured artist on Megan’s hit single “Cash S***” and her latest single, “Cry Baby,” fans were wondering why DaBaby is suddenly working with Megan’s accused shooter.

The Good News rapper previously named Lanez as the person who shot her in both of her feet on July 12th, as she exited a vehicle after a night out.

Last November, Lanez was charged with “assaulting a female friend” in the Hollywood Hills. Specifically, the DAYSTAR rapper was charged with one felony count each of assault with a semiautomatic firearm – personal use of a firearm – and carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle. He also faces a “gun allegation and that he personally inflicted great bodily injury.”

If convicted, Tory Lanez faces a maximum sentence of 22 years and eight months in prison.
