by

Peter Kramer/NBCFirst Lady Michelle Obama has recruited an all-star team of female superstars for “This Is for My Girls,” an empowering anthem, penned by Diane Warren, which features Missy Elliott, Zendaya, Kelly Rowland and Janelle Monáe, among others.

The message supports Let Girls Learn and the White House’s #62MillionGirls campaign, an initiative to highlight the “62 million girls around the world” who “are denied the right to an education.”

“This is for my girls all around the world,” they collectively sing on the chorus. “Stand up and be heard.”

The first lady will be joined by Missy and Queen Latifah for the Opening Keynote at the South by Southwest festival, which will be live-streamed on March 16 at 10:30 a.m. CT.
