Starting today at noon, the former first lady will host a weekly livestream titled “Mondays with Michelle Obama” to help children continue to practice their reading while at home. Essence reports she will read The Gruffalo by Julia Donaldson; There’s a Dragon in Your Book by Tom Fletcher; Miss Maple’s Seeds by Eliza Wheeler; and The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle, over the next four weeks.
“I’m thrilled to share some of my favorite children’s books and give kids an opportunity to practice their reading (while giving families a much-needed break!)” Obama wrote on Instagram.
