K. Michelle announced over the weekend that fans will soon receive new music early next year. The singer revealed in a lengthy post on Instagram why she opted to scrap her long-awaited Christmas album and is now focusing on a new mixtape, Still No F**ks Givin.
“I f**k up ALOT, and I want to apologize, but I’m no better than you. I’m just trying to get it right. I know u all wanted a Christmas Album, but I’m a perfectionist and there was just no time left in the day 4me to get it PERFECT,” wrote K. Michelle. “All of this started from one little mixtape, “0 f**ks Givin”. As a special thank you, I think it’s only fair we continue this legacy. Jan 8, 2014 I will present to you “Still No F**ks Givin.”
“Boy do I have a lot to say,” she adds before revealing that her second single “Can’t Raise a Man” will hit radio in January. “I love you guys more than you understand. No Fear,” she concludes.
Still No F**ks Givin is due for release January 8. Meanwhile, the singer will wrap her Rebellious Soul tour night in Boston.
