While visiting GRAMMY Pro’s headquarters in Santa Monica, California, the singer revealed how the project is a reflection of his journey to self-awareness and self-acceptance.  “Creating Wildheart was really all about digging deep and figuring out what baggage was kind of holding me back,” Miguel said, “and accepting and letting go of that baggage.”

Now that fans have had three months to digest the project, Miguel reveals the biggest takeaway he’s heard about it.

“This album is an emancipation of me taking myself too seriously and enjoying being in the moment and that’s what Wildheart is really all about,” he says. ” It was an extremely freeing, creative process for me.”

The singer will spend the remainder of the month on tour overseas, making stops in Switzerland, Germany, Australia, New Zealand and major cities in the U.K.
