After giving birth earlier this month, Monica has revealed the first images of Laiyah Shannon, her daughter with husband Shannon Brown.
The proud mommy posted a picture on Instagram in which she is holding her daughter’s tiny hand with a caption that reads: “A mothers love is one with no limits or boundaries #BabyGirl#LaiyahShannon.”
She goes on to add, “I will Love, support, uplift & be there for you & your brothers forever. You can always hold my hand & trust me to guide you the right way Mommy.”
In another image, her other children, Rocko Ramone Hill III, 8, and Romelo Montez Hill, 5, can be seen watching their baby sister sleep. Monica wrote, “Each day after school Rocko & Romelo come home running to love on their sister God truly shined his light on me when he gave me these three.”
Laiyah was born on Tuesday, September 3, weighing six lbs., one oz. and measuring 19 inches long, according to People. The newborn is the first child for the couple, who married in 2010.
