Image Courtesy RCA RecordsIt’s been three years since Monica released her latest album New Life in 2012, and now she’s ready for a comeback as she announced the title of her next CD.
The singer posted a photo on Instagram, of herself with singer songwriter Jozzy with whom she apparently worked on the forthcoming album. “While working on this album #CodeRed Polow introduced me to a young lady that could understand me & she wrote from MY heart.. Every story & moment I shared #SheListened & created!! As I record one of our records now I wanna say thank u @dopebyaccident #LoveU #CodeRedComingSoon #WeBeInAZone LOL,” she wrote, thanking Jozzy with the link to her Instagram handle.
Monica married former NBA player Shannon Brown on November 22, 2010, and since then she’s focused on raising their three children. Code Red would be her eighth solo album.
