After dishing about her issues with Oprah Winfrey, Mo’Nique is now sharing her frustrations with The View co-host Whoopi Goldberg.

In a newly released interview by Comedy Hype, Mo’Nique says her and Whoopi’s conversation after her appearances on The View was extremely disappointing because Goldberg wasn’t as supportive as she expected her to be.

“When I get Whoopi Goldberg on the flip saying, ‘F*** them little ones coming behind you. You better give a d*** about you’…That crushed me that day in her dressing room,” Mo’Nique recalls, tearing up.  “Because Whoopi Goldberg told me the salary she makes from The View. And that hurt my feelings.”

She continues, “You’ve been there for 10 years and you accept them paying you that?…D*** if I ain’t gotta be worried about you, too. Because you accept that salary, it makes it hard for me.”

Mo says Goldberg’s comments upset because she was taught to look out for those coming up.

“What if Moms Mabley didn’t worry about you?” Mo said. “What if those ones didn’t make it better for us? So, I tried not to take it personal, but it’s personal.”

Mo also shared that Patti LaBelle has been one of the few women in showbiz who’ve stayed authentic.

Mo’Nique says that during her second divorce, she almost had a breakdown before a comedy show, but says LaBelle helped her through it.

“‘Don’t you ever let them see you fall apart,'” Mo’ recalls Patti saying after giving her a big hug. “‘The one thing that man can’t take from you is your talent. You go out on that stage and you show your a**. You give the people in the back seats a hell of a show because they’re the ones that really didn’t have no money.'”
