Ms. Lauryn Hill headlining first-ever Mothers Ball, celebrating female achievers

MothersBallMs. Lauryn Hill will headline the first-ever Mothers Ball, which will be held in New York City to celebrate female achievers from across the country.

Elle Varner, hip-hop violinist Ezinma, Grammy nominee Letta J, and Lisa Ramey from season 16 of The Voice will also perform at the two-day event, scheduled for December 14 and 15 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in Manhattan.

The Mothers Ball was created to “support, uplift and empower women to advocate for themselves, their families, and their communities.”

In addition to the musical performances, the event will feature over 20 panel discussions with experts in the arts, education, business and philanthropy. Topics will include health and fitness, pay equity, career prosperity, entrepreneurship, parenting, relationships and sexuality, fertility, meditation and mindfulness, safety in our homes and schools.

“The Mothers Ball is the manifestation of a collective desire to elevate and immerse in the nurturing feminine spirit that influences and inspires us all,” says founder Lola Melani.

Tickets are now available on the Mothers Ball website. Children under 12 will be admitted for free.
