Joey RosadoNaturi Naughton is showing us just how beautiful pregnancy can be in her Essence baby bump photo spread.
In an intimate photo shoot with her partner Ben, Naughton shows off her bare belly with color coordinated outfits and body paint.
The soon-to-be first-time mother tells the magazine that pregnancy suits her.
“I feel really happy; pregnancy has been good to me,” Naughton says.
“I’m in love, I’m looking forward to just sharing this next level of life. My whole life has been about working and being in the girl group and being on stage and being an actress, but now I get to really enjoy a bigger purpose, which is motherhood, so I’m really excited.”
In additional to her upcoming bundle of joy — a baby girl — Naughton is also gearing up for an exciting new season of her hit Starz drama, Power.
The actress reveals that she’s “excited” to showcase both of her talents as a singer and actress on the show.
“There’s this episode further down the road. Second half of the season you’ll get to see me singing,” Naturi told ABC Radio. “You get to see me with a love interest. You’ll get to see just some other sides.”
