Courtesy StarzAs the series finale of Power approaches on Sunday, Naturi Naughton appears ready to resume her recording career.
The 35-year old entertainer is teasing new music in an Instagram photo with Omarion.
“We STILL HERE! #2020 it’s on! Me @omarion + @ehudsonmusic + @ezra___xx #NaturiMusic #Omarion #3LW #B2K #20yearsinthegame #theyaintready #blessed,” she commented.
The post promoted numerous comments from fans anxiously awaiting a musical collaboration between Naturi and Omarion.
Grammy winner Elle Varner is also excited, writing, “I can hear these photos!”
Naughton began her career as a singer, and at age 15 formed the teen trio 3LW with Adrienne Bailon and Kiely Williams. Their 2000 self-titled debut album was certified platinum and earned a Soul Train Award for Album of the Year. The trio also won Best New R&B or Hip-Hop Artist.
Like Naturi, Omarion also began his music career as a teenager in the 90s, as a member of B2K.
Naughton hasn’t released solo music since she recorded five songs on the soundtrack for the 2009 remake of Fame. She also starred in the film.
As she plans her return to music, Naughton has two films opening next month. She’ll appear in Really Love, with Michael Ealy and Tristan Mack Wilds, and Emperor, co-starring Harry Lennix and Mykelti Williamson.
