Ne-Yo returns for season two of ‘Step Up: High Water’ TV series


ABC/Richard HarbaughWorld of Dance judge Ne-Yo is returning for the second season of the YouTube original series Step Up: High Water.

The three-time Grammy Award winner reprises his role as Sage Odom, founder of Atlanta’s Performing Arts School. Naya Rivera, who previously starred in Glee, also returns to the cast, along with comedian Faizon Love.

The new season will also feature a cameo appearance by Rick Ross. Production recently started in Atlanta for the 10-episode, hour-long series, which will premiere on YouTube Premium in 2019.

Step Up: High Water is based on the Step Up film franchise which has produced five movies.
