ABC/ Ida Mae AstuteNe-Yo understands what it takes to be a “Good Man” — it’s the title track of his forthcoming new album. The song samples D’Angelo‘s smash hit “How Does It Feel.”
The World of Dance judge says in a statement that Good Man “focuses on the journey of what it is to be a good man: a good man to your spouse, a good brother to your brother, a good person to the world.”
“A Good Man makes mistakes, learns from those mistakes, therefore to not then repeat those mistakes. Being a Good Man is a journey,” he adds.
The lyric video for “Good Man” is available now on Vevo; you can also download and stream it via the usual digital platforms.
Good Man is expected to arrive everywhere later this year.
