ABC/Image Group LAGallup’s annual Most Admired Man and Woman poll is out and Beyoncé has landed on the Most Admired Woman list for 2017.
But her presence means a bit more than that.
Results of the survey are based on telephone interviews conducted in December with a random sample of 1,049 American adults aged 18 and older.
Beyoncé is tied with four other notable women, all of whom received 1% of the vote: Condoleezza Rice, Nikki Haley, Melania Trump and Duchess Kate Middleton.
But most importantly, Beyonce is the only artist on the list of the Most Admired Women, and the only one in the entire poll.
There are no male artists on the Most Admired Men List. According to the survey, that makes Beyonce the artist who Americans admire more than any other in the world.
Hillary Clinton, Michelle Obama and Oprah Winfrey are numbers one, two and three on the Most Admired Woman list, respectively. Barack Obama is listed as the Most Admired Man, with President Donald Trump at number two and Pope Francis at number three.
