Although the two are now separated, Nick Cannon said he and his estranged wife, Mariah Carey, plan to spend the holidays together.
“I mean, we’ll forever be family,” he explained on Monday’s Good Morning America. “At the same time we’re there for our children, making them the number-one priority, and understand that they’re loved and can have an amazing holiday.
So what will the holidays be like in the Cannon-Carey household? “It’s always a house full of people and pets and dogs. And Christmas Eve, we like to have sleigh rides and reindeer. It’s a lot of fun,” Cannon said.
The America’s Got Talent host was on GMA to promote his latest children’s book, Roc and Roe’s Twelve Days of Christmas, based on his two children with Carey, twins Moroccan and Monroe.
Cannon and Carey split in August. They married in 2008.
