The rapper engaged in a Q&A session, where fans asked questions about her pregnancy, breastfeeding and her experience giving birth for the first time.

Nicki and her husband Kenneth Petty welcomed their first child on Sept. 30. The 38-year-old recalled the moment she went into labor after asking Petty to rub her back” after a shower.

“As soon as I started scooting over to him in the bed, I just felt the water start coming out” Nicki tweeted. “I was weirdly calm & I quietly said ‘omg, I’m about to be in labor.’ He was very scared & I was laughing at him.”

Nicki said she was in labor “all night” at the hospital, where she had a natural birth with an epidural that “numbed [her] up real good.”

“I pushed for 2 1/2 hours. Only because first epidural didn’t wear off enough for me to feel myself pushing. Once I was able to feel the pain I pushed him on out,” she explained

According to Nicki, the couple’s son has the same “full personality” now that he had “in my tummy and he knew how to get his way.”

“He used to kick me so hard every night at the same time if I didn’t get up and walk with him,” she explained. “It was so intriguing to me. He does the same thing now.”

Nicki also said breastfeeding is “no problem” for her son since he easily “latched on in the hospital, which was surprising to me.”

“I was afraid maybe he wouldn’t. But breast feeding is very painful. Pumping is too,” Nicki added. “Women make this stuff look way too easy. Moms [are] really superheroes.”
