by

Travis-Shinn; ABC/Stewart Cook50 Cent has tapped NLE Choppa and rising singer Rileyy Lanez for the theme song to his upcoming Starz series, Power Book III: Raising Kanan.

Over the weekend, 50 shared a video clip of NLE Choppa vibing out to “Part of the Game” while riding in the car.

“He want this out ASAP lol,” 50 captioned the video on Instagram, while Power alum Joseph Sikora called it “another hit” in the post’s comments.

Fans mentioned the song sounded like old 50 from his Get Rich or Die Tryin days in 2003. Others pointed out the song’s uptempo beat, which samples Keni Burke‘s 1982 hit song, “Risin’ to the Top.”

“That Keni Burke sample is classic. 50 has rapped over this sample before too,” one fan wrote.

50 hasn’t released a full-length album since 2014’s Animal Ambition: An Untamed Desire to Win. But the New York rapper is known to bring fans the hottest tracks, including Power’s fan-favorite theme song “Big Rich Town Fans” featuring singer Joe

Power Book III: Raising Kanan is a prequel to the Power series, which will chronicle 50’s original character Kanan Stark and his early years in 1990s New York, which 50 calls “the golden era.” The series will also star Patina Miller, Quincy Brown, Omar Epps, Lovie Simone, Malcom Mays, Joey Bada$$, and Mekai Curtis as young Kanan.

50 is also gearing up for the upcoming mid-season premiere of Power Book II: Ghost, starring Michael Rainey, Jr.Naturi Naughton, Mary J. Blige, Method Man and others from the original Power cast.

“One week away. Power‘s back. Dec. 6. Here we go,” wrote 50 in another Instagram post.
