NLE Choppa, Moneybagg Yo, Gunna and more host toy drives in their hometown

Travis ShininJust days before Christmas, NLE Choppa, Moneybagg Yo, Gunna and more delivered toys, donations and other gifts to residents in their home cities.

On Sunday, Moneybagg Yo and NLE Choppa both returned to their hometown in Memphis, Tennessee, to host toy drives. Choppa had ball dancing with the kids and their parents while handing out gifts and bicycles.

“Giving, helping, and healing is what I love doing best,” Choppa tweeted. “Always making sure my old hood good no matter how busy I be appreciate all the kids for coming to get they gifts may everyone have a blessed Christmas and a blessed 21st.”

Moneybagg also returned to his Walker Homes community in Memphis to autograph basketballs and donate toys out of a U-Haul truck. “Felt Good Giving Back To Da Hood Dat Made Me, Certain [people] Can’t Even Go Back To They Hood,” he wrote on Instagram. “Next Time I Come Through I’m Buying Da Block Watch #WalkerHolmesBaby.”

Rapper Gunna was also in the giving spirit Sunday, hosting his third annual Gunna’s Great Giveaway in front of a Walmart in Southside Atlanta to give out special presents. 

Meanwhile, 50 Cent left his hometown in New York to host a drive-thru toy drive in Houston, Texas on behalf of his G-Unity Foundation. According to his Instagram, he also took pictures with fans and handed out gifts in front of the NAACP’s Houston Branch office.
