Omarion Recognizes Graduates in NYC with Get Schooled Foundation

Image Courtesy Matthew Welch/Atlantic RecordsOmarion was on hand to celebrate exemplary high school students as a part of Get Schooled’s Grad 4 Mas campaign, which saw select achievers featured on giant screens in New York City’s Times Square. The singer joined CEO of Taco Bell, Brain Niccol to recognize the students during a private event on Wednesday.

After an impromptu performance, the singer took to Instagram to share his experience with his fans. “Today was super cool!! I got the chance to share my story with some newly high school graduates, in association with Taco Bell, & the #Getschooled foundation,” he wrote. 

Omarion referred to Niccol as his “new homie” and praised him for giving back. “His company is only worth 9 billion lol!! Not only did he give away a few scholarships & shared his story, he still finds time to gives back to kids in need of an education,” he wrote,  “Love!! To all parties involved because today we gave back!! & that’s what it’s all about. #givingback.”
