Courtesy of Atlantic Records; StarzP-Valley star Brandee Evans got a chance to show off her acting skills in Tank‘s new music video for his single, “Can’t Let It Show.”
The video finds Tank pleading with his lady Brandee to take him back. There are also scenes of Tank begging for forgiveness, while wearing a straight jacket. In the end, fed up Brandee takes off her rings and earrings to throw at him before ultimately walking away — for good.
“How did I lose you / How did I blow that, How can we go back/ Why did I not choose you / Instead of a good time/ I wasted your good time,” sings Tank on the track he wrote and produced.
The TAJ-directed music video features a nostalgic look similar to Tank’s 2001 video for “Maybe I Deserve.”
“Can’t Let It Show” samples Kate Bush‘s “This Woman’s Work,” which was also sampled by Maxwell in 2001. It was released on Tank’s label, R&B Money under Atlantic Records and will be featured on Tank’s next album, arriving this summer. It will follow up his 2020 EP’s, While You Wait, Worth The Wait and his 2019 album, Elevation.
