Derek BlanksPatti LaBelle is the latest superstar announced to perform on VH1’s Divas Holiday: Unsilent Nightspecial in December.
Last week, it was revealed that Mariah Carey would also appear as a performer on the holiday-themed television event as well.
“I’m so excited to share the VH1 Divas stage with Mariah, who is not only a phenomenal singer and performer, but also my goddaughter,” LaBelle said in a statement. “This is going to be really, really special.”
Like Mariah, Patti has previously entertained audiences on the Divas stage: she last performed in Las Vegas in 2004 on the show, which benefits VH1’s Save the Music Foundation.
VH1’s Divas Holiday: Unsilent Night will air on December 5 at 9 p.m. ET on VH1.
