Petition Created to Have R. Kelly Removed from Soulquarius Music Festival

Christian LantryA petition created to ban R. Kelly from performing during the forthcoming Soulquarius music festival is making the rounds. 

895 people have already signed the Change.org online document. Its creator, Jamie Thompson, offers a range of reasons for seeking the R&B singer’s removal from the concert lineup —  including the published reports that that Kelly was illegally married to a then-15-year-old Aaliyah in a marriage that was later annulled, and other later allegations of sexual relationships with underage girls.

link to a 2015 Huffington Post, disclosing the award-winning singer’s past alleged transgressions, was also added to the petition for readers to understand Thompson’s plea.
