The “Fall in Love” singer recently shared a picture of her new look on Instagram with the disheartening caption, “Feeling kinda empty today!!! SMH.”
She also posted a photo of her aunt, who also shaved her hair as an act of solidarity for KeKe and her ailing child.
Earlier this week, the artist shared an Instagram video telling fans that she planned to shave her hair off in a live video on the social media platform.
“Plz pray for my family…Haven’t really said to[sic] much about my personal life. But my child has been fighting cancer and lost all of their hair that they loved,” she wrote in the caption.
KeKe continued, “It hurts me so bad. So to show Mommy’s support I’m going to get @keever_west to shave me bald today. I need a complete healing for my baby.”
It’s currently unknown which one of KeKe’s eight kids — seven biological and one stepchild — is battling cancer. KeKe, married to husband/manager Michael Ford, is currently pregnant with the couple’s fourth child.
