Def JamIt’s been a week since Teyana Taylor announced she’s pregnant with her first child with her boyfriend, Cleveland Cavaliers star Iman Shumpert. However, the singer isn’t letting her bundle of joy stop her from recording new music.
The singer revealed via Twitter she’s preparing the follow-up to last year’s VII after completing Chris Brown‘s “One Hell of a Nite” tour, which wraps September 19.
“After tour. I will be starting album right away & get it out ASAP. The work doesn’t stop until doc say chill lol” tweeted the singer, who released a mixtape, The Cassette Tape 1994, last month. “I can’t wait until she’s here…#BabyImanTayla,” she added.
In the meantime, Teyana is having fun eating for two. “Me & Baby Iman bout to tear this food up for my baby girl Bri Bri 11th bday!” Teyana wrote in an Instagram photo where she stands before a table of food.
Teyana and Iman are expected to welcome their bundle of joy January 16, 2016.
