Courtesy of Warner Bros. Home VideoFans of “The Purple One” will be in luck on October 4 with the release of the commemorative Prince Movie Collection.
The Blu-ray disc set will include Prince‘s three acting performances in the films Purple Rain, with newly remastered audio and video, its unofficial sequel Graffiti Bridge and Under the Cherry Moon.
Purple Rain was Prince’s first starring role in a movie, as “The Kid,” and features his hit tracks, “Let’s Go Crazy,” “When Doves Cry” and “I Would Die 4U.”
The Prince Movie Collection will be available to purchase in stores and from digital retailers at the retail price of $24.98, which each individual film selling for $14.97. The case for the special Blu-ray disc set will be packaged in none other than the color purple.
