Paras Griffin/Getty ImagesDrake and Migos finally kicked off their long-delayed Aubrey and The Three Migos tour Sunday night in Kansas City, Missouri. Before the show, it seems like Quavo won $10,000 from Drizzy for hitting a half-court basketball shot.
Quavo posted a video on Instagram of him hitting the shot, with the caption, “Shooting For 10 Bandz.” After he drained the shot, Drake tried and failed to duplicate his feat, and then congratulated Huncho, as Quavo’s “Lamb Talk” plays in the background.
The oldest member of Migos recently told Billboard that the group and Drake will be playing hoops throughout the tour.
“I’m looking forward to this basketball tournament,” Quavo said. “It’s like a playoff game and a trophy made. It’s going to be really intense. Every day we’re going to work out and get to the athletics.”
During last night’s show, Drake had a basketball court on stage, and he invited a boy from the audience to take a foul shot. according to Billboard. The fan hit the shot, and won $1,750. As Drake said, “The city’s watching you.”
