Ahead of the video game’s release this Friday, Quavo stars in the new trailer for the Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time.

Activision and Toys for Bob called up the Migos rapper and game franchise lover to feed the hungry fans and announce the video game’s arrival.

The trailer opens with a man in a Crash Bandicoot costume. “Just in time. The big wait’s over everybody. I repeat, this is an all new drop,” the man says, before asking Quavo to be his hype man.

“The Pure Water” rapper politely declines while wearing his favorite Crash Bandicoot-themed pendant, which features the game’s character Aku Aku, a human spirit that takes the shape of a mask.

Crash 4 will feature new tricks, new worlds, new powers and “new insanity,” according to the manufacturer.

Quavo is happy to continue what he called a “tradition” from his childhood days, where he recalls playing the game that reigned as #1 until its hiatus between 2011 and 2017.

“It’s a blessing to be part of the franchise that I grew up playing,” he said in a July interview with The Hollywood Reporter. “It’s like a dream come true.”

Quavo also mentioned the new game was “a little tougher” than previous games in the franchise.
